(ANSAmed)- RABAT, JUNE 18 - The number of companies working
in the aeronautics sector in Morocco has grown from 10 to 100 in
the period 2001 to 2011.
According to Ahmed Fassi Fihri, director of the Moroccan agencies for investment development, this very positive trend is a result of the plan set up by the Rabat government to support new initiatives in the sector. On the website lematin.ma, Mr Fihiri points out how the volume of exports has reached one billion dollars per year, showing the interest of global producers. Mr Fihri added that the setting up of companies in Morocco ''could add impetus to development in the sector in the coming years''. Canadian company Bombardier will, for example, have a new production unit in Morocco from 2013 for an estimated investment of 200 million dollars. (ANSAmed).
